Ana Hickmann Receives Support from Celebrities After Being Assaulted by Husband

Rio – After being assaulted by her husband, Alexandre Correa, and filing a complaint, Ana Hickmann received support from various celebrities through social media on Sunday. Celebrities such as Bárbara Borges, Cacau Protásio, Fabiana Karla, and Ary Fontoura posted heart emojis on the presenter’s latest Instagram post.

Actress Glamour Garcia commented, “Ana, everything will be okay. We are with you.” Former “paquita” Ana Paula Almeida also expressed solidarity with the presenter. “Ana, you once told me, in a similar situation I was going through, that you would be there supporting me, and today I am here for whatever you need. Even if it’s just in my prayers. I think it’s the best I can do today (Sunday),” she said.

Ana was assaulted by Alexandre Correa inside their home in Itú, São Paulo, over the weekend. The case was reported to the local police station. In a statement, the presenter confirmed the altercation with her husband.

“After a disagreement between Alexandre Correa and Ana Hickmann last Saturday (11), the Military Police was called, and the presenter was taken to the Police Station to clarify the facts. Through her press office, Ana Hickmann thanks the fans for their love and solidarity and informs that she is at home, well, and fortunately did not suffer any major physical consequences,” the statement read.

Alexandre also addressed the incident in a statement posted on his social media. “In fact, yesterday, I had a disagreement with my wife, an absolutely isolated situation that did not have any major consequences. I would also like to clarify that I never headbutted her, as falsely reported in the press, and everything will be properly clarified at the appropriate time. I take this opportunity to offer my most sincere apologies to my entire family for what happened. It’s been 25 years of marriage without any incidents of this nature. I have always served Ana as her agent, with all the love, care, and respect, just as I treat the 7 women I work with in my office.”

The incident gained traction on social media, with users sharing videos of the couple together and pointing out that the businessman has always been harsh with the presenter. Users also resurfaced an old video of Adriane Galisteu talking about Ana’s husband and mentioned the ‘domestic accidents’ suffered by the Record TV presenter.
